Alex Horne has become one of the richest hosts on television since the huge success of his comedy show creation, Taskmaster.
The 45-year-old created the concept for the notorious Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2010 and managed to score a deal with Dave TV to create a show from 2015.
Alex might co-host alongside the well-known actor Greg Davies but accounts posted by his company, Shakey Productions Ltd, show that he has greatly benefited from the show, leaving him earning £7.5 million in a year.
The father-of-three is now said to be in the same league as household names Ant & Dec and Jack Whitehall.
In 2019, Taskmaster was scooped up by Channel 4 and has since completed 17 successful seasons, with the latest having aired its final on Thursday.

The contestants for season 18 have just been announced including comedic geniuses Babatunde Aléshé, 37, Jack Dee, 62, and Rosie Jones, 33.
The show has been nominated for a BAFTA four times, winning in 2020 after beating The Last Leg, The Graham Norton Show and The Ranganation.
At the time the country was still facing lockdown restrictions, causing most of the award ceremony to be hosted via Zoom calls.
Greg also presented an award but was subjected to a taunt by host Richard Ayoade.
The former Inbetweeners star was attempting to speak to nominees including Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Sian Gifford, Sarah Kendall and Gbemisola Ikumelo over Zoom.
But Greg struggled to converse with the stars, leading Richard to joke: 'Zoom is great for banter isn't it Greg.'
He replied: 'I'm going to go straight to the scripted stuff.'
Taskmaster provides lots of laughs by making five famous contestants take part in head scratching challenges in order to win their forfeited possessions.
